- I am Aline. Born in Rio de Janeiro, I moved to New York where I have been working at the United Nations Headquarters since 1999. A few years ago, I went on my first peacekeeping mission. I spent three months in East Timor and I had a fantastic experience helping with the elections. I am currently on my second electoral mission. This time for six months in Sudan!

Eu sou a Aline. Nascida no Rio de Janeiro, me mudei para NY onde trabalho na sede das Nações Unidas desde 1999. Em 2007, fui pela primeira vez em uma missão de paz. Passei três meses no Timor-Leste e lá tive uma experiência fantástica ajudando nas eleições. A oportunidade de ir em uma missão eleitoral apareceu novamente e agora estou no Sudão! Dessa vez irei ficar aqui por seis meses. Através desse blog pretendo dividir com vocês um pouquinho da minha vida nesse país. Espero que gostem.
